It's 2022. We start this year with the Epiphany of the Lord – another new beginning. Last year we looked at
beginnings, this year let’s look at New Year’s resolutions. It’s that time when we decide to do or not to do something. 

So what need we do in ’22?

Is there anything in our lives we resolutely want to change? As we look to the Epiphany of the Lord, we can see it as a
manifestation of the Lord - a kind of seeing or a meeting of the Lord. Usually, with an Epiphany of the Lord we often get an insight, ‘a moment of realization,' a revelation, a new perspective, or see reality in a new light or even see ourselves differently. Can you remember what it was for the Blessed Mother at the Annunciation, for Peter at the first encounter with Jesus, or the good thief on the cross in the gospel of Luke?

Our parish prayer is a good starting point to put faith into action and help us to get focused for the coming year:

Loving God and Father - You sent your Spirit to us to help us on our Way.  Give us the grace as people of Kaukauna Catholic Parishes; to discover the life of Jesus, and to live and share this Joy with others - so that your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. Through Jesus Christ our Lord forever and ever. Amen.
