To ensure that parishioners of KCP can learn more about Scripture, in addition to homilies that explain the Bible at Masses, and bulletin articles that offer Lectio Divina readings, etc.(other things can be added here) our parish has on-going Scripture studies in the fall, for Advent, to begin the New Year, during Lent and before summer. If you are interested in learning more of what is currently being offered, you can (directions to find the choices available) or call Michelle at 920-989-2203 for more information. The studies that are selected usually come from Ascension Press, the leader in production of Scripture programs that are authentically Catholic, and often use the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) as a reference as well as Holy Scriptures. We have a group of faithful, welcoming small groups that will help you feel part of the community at KCP. We look forward to you joining us in the next scheduled study.
Is 2024 the year YOU decide to study the Bible and learn all the important people, places and events? The Bible Timeline is a perfect study both for the new Bible student or the experienced scholar. Jeff Cavins, the developer of the TimeLine, is our guide in focusing on the narrative books of the Bible and building a framework for all your future studies of Scripture. The introductory session is January 9th at the Joint Parish Center next to St. Mary's Church in Kaukauna at 6:30pm. Call Michelle, the study facilitator if you want to register. The fee for the course is $40 which covers all your materials and on-line videos.
