Whenever I stop and reflect on my experience of God and the awe-inspiring encounter with the three persons of God, I cannot help but rejoice in the experience of Love so profound that God went to this extent to provide for us.
In some aspects the experience of the mystery of the Trinity is so profound the whole of the mystery is such that we will spend a lifetime being a part of—but still be just part way—into understanding of the fullness of this mystery.
Yet at the same time, our encounters with the persons of the Trinity are powerful and clear. We are offered unconditional love from the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And each experience of the different persons of the Trinity leads us further into the life God wants for us. A life of dignity, a life of hope, a life of love and a life filled with blessings and graces that are beyond anything we could imagine.
As we celebrate this great Feast of the Holy Trinity we cannot help but be filled with an immense gratitude for a truth and a reality that raises us to the glory of understanding who we really are as children of God.
